About Darrion

I am an Aerospace Engineering student with a passion for math, aerospace medicine, and the future of space exploration. As a crew chief in the Air Force, I work hands-on with extraordinary fighter jets, gaining firsthand knowledge of how they operate and fly. I’ve also had the privilege of learning from NASA engineers and participating in their mentoring academies, giving me a unique perspective on how science and math are applied in the real world. My ultimate goal is to become a pilot-physician and astronaut, combining my love for aerospace and medicine. I’m dedicated to pursuing a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering to further my knowledge and impact. My diverse experiences and passion for engineering and space exploration fuel my commitment to helping students master math, from basic concepts to more advanced topics, while showing them how these skills can open doors to exciting future careers.

About the lesson

Whether you're struggling with the basics or looking to master more advanced topics, I'm here to help you succeed.

As a math tutor with experience mentoring in NASA academies and working on fighter jets in the Air Force, my approach is to make complex concepts simple and engaging through practical, real-world examples. I focus on breaking down math problems into clear, manageable steps, tailoring my teaching methods to fit each student's unique learning style. A typical lesson plan involves an initial assessment of understanding, followed by concept explanations, interactive problem-solving, and the application of math to real-world aerospace or engineering scenarios.

My ability to connect math to exciting fields like aerospace sets me apart, helping students see its relevance beyond the classroom. I offer tutoring for all ages and levels, from basic math to pre-calculus. These are ideal for students aiming to build a solid foundation or excel in exams.
