About
I'm a recent graduate of the CUNY Grad Center Math PhD program. During my time there, I was the primary instructor for math courses at City College across five semesters, teaching College Algebra and Trigonometry, Precalc, and Calculus 1. Before that, I worked at various tutoring centers with students ranging from second grade to college. My main focus as a tutor is identifying the key concepts that a student is struggling with and finding explanations of those concepts that work for them. I believe that this, paired with working through practice problems (with my guidance where necessary), is the best way to build students' confidence and understanding of the material.
