About Amanda
I am a recent High School graduate, so I know exactly what types of difficulties students go through, and the best way to explain and make math easier!
I graduated as one of the top 5 students of my class, with an overall grade of 93% in AP chemistry, 90% in AP math and 89% in Calculus.
I have always loved math, and it has always come very easily to me. For as long as I can remember I have been tutoring my friends, and I love helping them understand something I am so passionate about.
I have tutored many friends on math, physics and chemistry, as well as 9 and 14 year old kids with math.

We would highly recommend Amanda as a math tutor.Perfect! I hired amanda to help me with a few senior year math problems and could not be more satisfied with her help. In only one hour of class she was able to very clearly explain some topics I had a hard time with, and she was very patient while trying to explain.

i was never able to fully understand math and its applications. If it wasnt for amanda i would not only have failed math and physics on high school, but i also would’ve grown without the complete knowledge of the basics. she is the best teacher!!
Amanda made my life 100% easier with her tutoring! i hated physics and chemistry in high school, it never made sense to me and she made it understandable and even likeble! So i aced my finals with only a few lessons with her
Amanda has always been willing to help whoever needed tutoring with senior year physics and math, subjects I had a very hard time with. During this period she proved herself completely capable of helping me, with a lot of patience and hard work, she looked for all the best ways to explain the topics to me so that there were no doubts left. Furthermore, she helped me a lot to boost my confidence in the subject, and show me that everyone struggles with something, so that I didn’t let my questions become insecurities!

In my senior year of high school I was very close to failing chemistry and not graduating. I needed to get an almost perfect score on my last exam, so I worked with Amanda for about two weeks straight, and I understood the content so much better than I had the whole year. I passed the class and was able to graduate thanks to her!
I had a very hard time with math in general during middle school, especially geometry, until I met Amanda. She explained everything in a much more simple and understandable way, explaining step by step how to do various exercises, which made it a lot easier to learn. She tutored me for about 3 years, and now I really enjoy math, she is great!
