About Katie

I am currently in my third year of studying medicine in London and have a good understanding of what study techniques are successful. I am an aspiring surgeon and am an academic lead in my university's orthopaedic society. I have run debate societies and won competitions nationally. I have also won essay competitions in school for science-based research.

About the lesson

I can help boost GCSE and A-Level grades in science and maths. My lessons centre on practising exam questions and tests to tailor a perfect mark scheme answer. Often students struggle to gain a deeper understanding of school content and so re-explaining confusing concepts and topics allows for critical thinking questions to be answered with ease. I also tutor in GCSE English and can advise aspiring medics on the application process, this includes the UCAT.
