About Alexandra
I am a second year Engineering student in the University of Oxford, got all A* in my IGCSEs(including 100% in Maths), and all A* in A-Levels. I have won a variety of prizes and certificates in British maths challenges, including UKMT intermediate and senior ones, and follow-on olympiads.
I am a very friendly and smiley tutor-my lessons are always a lot of fun, we manage to play games, do investigations, and see how maths is related to real life, and not just textbooks.

I've a 1.5 year experience in private tutoring, my students have improved their GCSE grades by up to 2 grades after working with me.
I'e worked with students who are as young as 4, and as old as 17 year olds, but I mostly concentrate on working with teens from 12 to 18 y.o.
I have the best result in the world for Maths IGCSE (100%), and top grades(all A*) for all my A-Levels, which include Maths and Further Maths.
My lessons last 60 minutes, in which we would do the main theory on a particular topic, will develop the skills for it, do a fair amount of exam questions, and will finish of with higher level questions from maths challenges like Kangaroo in order to develop "outside of the box" thinking.
