About Adib
Hi, my name is Adib Ariman and I am an experienced tutor with a passion for teaching and learning. I have been tutoring for the last 3 years, and have taught a wide variety of ages and subjects. I have a wide range of academic interests, and I always enjoy learning something outside my knowledge. In particular, I am interested in artificial intelligence and the ways in which it can have a positive impact on individuals.
In my free time, I enjoy playing the piano and participating in sports such as athletics and football. I say this because I understand the importance of a healthy, sustainable work-life balance. I am also a collaborative person and understand that tutoring involves teamwork between myself and the student to ensure the most optimal outcome. I am dedicated to helping my students succeed, and I find great fulfilment in helping them learn and grow.
This isn't like school, and I won't treat it like such. We'll have personalized lessons which are catered to the needs of each individual student, the pace will be comfortable and I will do my best to ensure you'll get the most out of it!

I approach teaching from a problem based learning style which places emphasis on asking the student questions and directly addressing their weaknesses and queries rather than a standard style. This ensures that students are able to follow throughout the entire lesson. Furthermore, continuously asking questions enables the student to develop a deeper understanding of the topic, whilst allowing me to better understand any weaknesses within their theory. Lesson length and pace will depend on the specific student and is very flexible. I have been tutoring students from year 7 to 12 for the past two years whilst always collaborating with peers and other students who have required my help in the past with specific queries or a subject, thus I have extensive experience in teaching others. My lessons will generally be towards year 7 to 12, however younger students can definitely be accommodated for.
