About Amy
Hello! My name is Amy. I used to be a primary school teacher. "123 Learn with me!" is my new tutoring service for primary school students who need extra help or a confidence boost!
Any primary school subject and A Level Sociology students!
Availability:
Monday - Thursday 7:30am - 8:30pm.
Sunday: 8am - 5pm.
I have always been passionate about child development and want to help children of all abilities progress and succeed during their formative years.
Personalised learning is key across the curriculum and it is of upmost importance to deliver engaging, stimulating, and creative sessions with a holistic approach wherever possible. I make work purposeful, build positive relationships with children, and act upon their interests by incorporating them into lessons. I strongly believe building positive relationships with individual pupils matter; children need to feel able to make mistakes without feeling judged in order for them to progress in their learning.
I have learned never to assume what children already know. Each child has their own individual needs; therefore, I aim to create sessions that accommodate all pupils. My evaluations at the end of each lesson have also helped me plan for future lessons. Therefore, reflection provides an opportunity to record and consider how I could adapt my teaching methods as appropriately identified within my lessons.
