About Phoebe
Hi! I'm a 21-year-old Cardiff University student studying Medical Pharmacology hoping to pursue a career in Medicine. I have A levels in Biology, Chemistry and Maths and 10 A*s at GCSE. I worked as an academic tutor for an international company called Explore Learning for 3 years, where I tutored children from ages 5-15 in Maths and English. I experienced group teaching as well as one on one, working with hundreds of different children with unique learning styles. I also headed up the 11+ course for 2 years, running the programme, organising the teaching and tutoring a group myself. I sat the 11+ myself to gain a place at the selective secondary school I attended and understand the pressure of the exam. I have been privately tutoring for 2 years now finding students through friends and family. Throughout this time I have built great relationships with my students and been asked to carry on tutoring them via skype now I'm away at university. I'm now hoping to extend my student base.
