Surprisingly enough, my background is in animal welfare and care. However, I have taken many classes and Continuing Education courses in order to be prepared to assist with ESL students and their learning objectives. I have taught English as a second language to many students ranging from South America to China. Rest assured, I can help!

My teaching approach very much depends on the individual (or group of individuals) I get the pleasure of working with. Not every student will learn the same, and so I feel it is important for my teaching style to be flexible. That's not to say I don't rely on realia or visual imagery (which is my preference), I am also a huge fan of Task Based Learning, as I feel it provides a lot of "real world insight".
