About Jade
I believe that every child should be treated with high expectations that they can achieve in what they believe. A child should be encouraged along their own learning journey with the empathy and support of a person they can trust. They need to feel safe in the space they are learning, willing to take risks and encouraged to take these risks to challenge and stretch themselves. Every child is unique and I endeavour to tune into each individual child’s need and to simulate their learning effectively.
Alongside my teaching role, I now tutor five students privately after each school day in Maths, English and Spelling. I have always been appreciated for the close relationships I create with my pupils, and after being approached by one of my student’s parents in my first year of teaching, I took on private tutoring for a Year 4 pupil who was struggling with her Maths.

I am looking to do tutoring or home schooling full time for primary school students. A lesson for one subject would typically last one hour.
I use a baseline for each term to then prepare and create my own resources to meet the needs of the individual. I make my students feel comfortable and supported in the areas they need to work on and this develops their understanding and confidence in the subject. In this, I have realised how much I love and appreciate being able to support a student in a 1:1 environment. After a few months of tutoring my first student, the parent then recommended me to others and my private tutoring expanded.
