I put emphasis on making the learning meaningful and interesting through relatable real life problem solving with topics selected with the student’s interests in mind. I also make the student’s thinking visible by asking the student to create visual representation like drawings and writings. This both helps the student understand better and helps me in guiding the student more efficiently through open questions.

Perfect! Xavier is a very patient teacher! Exactly what my daughter needs. He is creative in his tutoring and made it fun. My daughter hates math but she really enjoyed how Xavier taught the concepts. He tailored his teaching to my daughters interests.

Xavier is a pleasure to work with! He has a very welcoming and encouraging presence. I highly recommend Xavier to help you succeed!
Xavier was a ski instructor colleague. He was really good at creating a fun and engaging experiences on the snow. He was also good at adapting to different peoples' needs and challenging everyone appropriately.
I work with Xavier and he is a great teacher. He explains things very well, is always on time, and is kind and helpful to everyone.
Xavier is current in his practicum with me as his sponsor teacher. He is personable, well organized and clear. He is able to tutor in both French and English.
Xavier has been my Via Ferrata guide on a few occasions and he told me that after a few years of being a ski instructor, guide, and substitute teacher he is heading in teaching. As he is an engineer, I am sure he will make an excellent science teacher. Throughout the activity he was guiding me, he made sure that the whole group followed the rules in a safe way, he explained the techniques to us with a lot of patience and humor, he made the activity most interesting by giving us all kinds of information on flora and nature. We felt confident with him and we always had a lot of fun.
