About Jefus
I am an exciting professional, with great interest in language and communication. I have a bachelors degree in English Language and a masters in International and Intercultural communication. I believe I have a unique purpose in helping my clients become value-adding members of society. With the blend of English and foundations of communication, I would make language learning so fun that my students would not be able to remember a time when they could not use English properly!

As a teacher, I have had to intentionally and unintentionally apply strategies to my language teaching process. So far, I love the communicative language teaching because its an English learning practicum for the students where they are able to learn on the go. I believe students learn more when placed in situations where they have to express themselves. More often than not, when you present a young and creative mind with a task, they are able to develop interesting responses.
With the total Physical Response, I introduce subject matters to them and demonstrate how they can apply the knowledge to everyday life. As they physically act on these, they gain more understanding of language and its various uses.
Th Direct Method is a common way and a go-to that serves as an introduction and lays the foundation to build upon. Using the target language in the classroom has helped my students to familiarize themselves with the words. Organizing vocabulary and grammar tests creates a memory bank and then the direct method forces the students to think and look for words to convey their thoughts, whether in speaking or writing.
