About Sonal
**Qualifications & Experience**
My name is Sonal (sanskrit for "golden" "precious like gold") and I'm a **qualified yoga teacher** with professional training in yoga instruction. My goal is to help students build confidence in their practice while improving their physical and mental well-being through consistent and mindful movement.
Will be studying how to teach Children's Yoga in May 2026.
It's not just yoga for me. It's a passion linked to my Grandfather who passed away 6 months ago. Dedicated to him.

My teaching approach focuses on creating a supportive, calm, and personalised environment where students can develop their yoga practice at their own pace. I believe yoga should be accessible to everyone, whether you are a complete beginner or someone looking to deepen your existing practice.
I combine traditional yoga postures (asanas), breathing techniques (pranayama), and mindfulness practices to help students improve flexibility, strength, and mental well-being.
Each class is adapted to the student's level and goals. I provide clear step-by-step guidance, posture corrections, and modifications to ensure that every student feels comfortable and safe during the practice.
**Lesson Structure & Duration**
A typical lesson lasts **60 minutes**, although shorter or longer sessions can be arranged if needed. Classes usually include:
• A gentle warm-up and breathing exercises
• Guided yoga postures to build strength and flexibility
• Balance and mobility work
• A relaxing cool-down and short mindfulness or relaxation practice
Don't worry, you don't need a yoga mat or other props. Can tailor for Chair Yoga.
