About Torrie
I have over a decade of tutoring Middle School, High School and College-aged students in private and group settings. The majority of my experience is in Math (I love Algebra I and Geometry), but I also have English and General Tutoring (all subjects) experience.
I have a bachelor's in Math + Education and a Master's in Education.
I have taught 1 year of High School Math - Pre-Calculus and Statistics.

Tutoring will depend significantly on the student. Methodology will be flexible to the student's learning style and areas of support needed. From curriculum review and direct teaching of content to homework help and time-management as well as test taking strategies.
Lessons are prepped in advance when possible, but flexible to the needs of the student. From studying for exams, completing homework assignments to catching up on work after an absence and practicing challenging material, I'm excited to develop a plan custom to the student.
