About Syed
I have completed A levels: Chemistry, Biology, Maths and EPQ. My grades are A*AA A* respectively. I have 12 GCSEs including nine 9s, and a grade A in Maths which I achieved at age 11 in Primary school. Some of many other of my achievements in Maths include: Gold AND Kangaroo (higher than gold) in both UKMT: Junior Maths Challenge, and Intermediate Maths challenge. Here are all of my GCSE Results: SUMMARY: NINE 9s, ONE 8, ONE 7, ONE A achieved in year 6 GCSE (2022): Maths AQA - Grade 9 Further Maths - AQA - Grade 9 English Language - AQA - Grade 9 Computer Science - AQA - Grade 9 Chemistry - AQA - Grade 9 Biology - AQA - Grade 9 Physics - AQA - Grade 9 Geography - AQA - Grade 9 RE - Eduqas - Grade 9 Spanish - Edexcel - Grade 8 English Literature - AQA - Grade 7 IGCSE (2017): Maths - Edexcel - Grade A (NOTE: I did this in Year 6) *Note: Grade 9 is equivalent to A**, Grade 8 is equivalent to A*, etc. My previous tutoring experience includes: preparing kids for their 11+ exam, Sats as well as students preparing for GCSE and AS levels, with very successful feedback. I currently teach more mature students from ages 15 upwards. I guarantee your child will improve in Maths as long as they work hard and stay focused, alongside the extra added bonus of tutoring.

I teach between 1 and 2 hours online. I offer 1-to-1 lessons at £25/ hour. I host the lessons on Google Meet and use sites such as Miro and Google Whiteboards to make real-time annotations visible to the student, along with many teaching resources to provide content. The student can work with a simple pen and paper. However, if they have something to write digitally with, e.g. stylus or tablet, they can also make annotations which I can correct in real-time and give feedback on. I currently teach Maths to students who are preparing for GCSE Maths *from ages 13 onwards.* I start from their level (the foundation) and progress upward. Based on my expertise in tutoring, I explain the concepts in a clear and concise manner so they can learn in the most efficient way possible. I go through each topic students struggle/ are unfamiliar with, and if needed, I also set homework for practice. I prefer to go through example questions and ask students to lead me through their answers.
