Zara has taken me from being a complete non singer at age 65 to a stage where I have formed my own band leading vocals and also writing and producing songs, some of which have been played on local radio. That I think is recommendation enough. She will provide all the technical training to get the most from the student's voice and will offer plenty of encouragement and advice to address any problems that arise. Ultimately flexible, Zara will have a vast number of ideas for songs to suit a wide range of styles whether singing for pleasure or whether you are looking to perform, at which point she can call upon her many years as a profession performer in order to get you started. Zara has a gentle manner but an inner determination which she will bring to bear in her teaching. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Zara gave a singing newbie like me clear and calm instructions in each lesson. She spotted where I needed help and spent time getting things right. A fascinating subject to learn. Loved every minute.
