About Zuri
I am a Chemistry tutor with 7 years of teaching experience and a BSc in Medicinal Chemistry. My focus is on making Chemistry clear, structured, and approachable for students at different academic levels. I enjoy breaking down complex topics into simple, understandable ideas. My teaching approach in Chemistry is relaxed, clear, and focused on real understanding rather than memorization. I believe students learn best when concepts are connected to practical applications. I mainly teach Analytical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, and Inorganic Chemistry. I also focus strongly on Instrumental Analysis to help students understand real laboratory work. This includes techniques like NMR spectroscopy, IR spectroscopy, and UV-Visible spectroscopy. I also guide students in Chromatography methods such as HPLC and Gas Chromatography. Quantitative analysis and error calculation are also an important part of my sessions. I explain each topic step by step with simple examples. My classes include real lab-based situations so students can see how chemistry is used in practice. I also help students working in fields like Genetics and Microbiology to understand chemical principles behind laboratory techniques. This makes it easier for them to connect chemistry with their research and experiments. I encourage questions and discussion to build strong conceptual clarity. I support learners in exam preparation, assignments, and practical understanding. My goal is to make chemistry simple, useful, and closely connected to real lab work and scientific careers.
