About Aly
I love to teach. I love to teach with intention, curiosity, and to see the individual in each student. I grew up with an incredible mentor in art and strive to cultivate a space that each student will feel confident, empowered, and growing in skill and knowledge in equal parts; as I had.

I implement inquiry based teaching methodology that encourages a student's natural curious nature. I often begin my lessons by asking students what their baseline knowledge of a topic is and let them tell me what it is they know and what they may need to better understand. From there we sculpt a learning plan and action based on the students interests and weave in critical information to grow further learning opportunities.
