About Dean
I am a dedicated violin tutor with 10 years of experience, teaching high school and college students. Throughout my career, I have successfully guided around 250 students, helping them develop their skills and passion for music. My teaching philosophy centers on creating a supportive and engaging learning environment. I believe every student is unique and should learn at their own pace.
I focus on building a strong foundation in technique while encouraging creativity and self-expression. Many of my students have gone on to win local competitions and participate in youth orchestras, which I take great pride in. My goal is to inspire students to not only master the violin but also to enjoy the process of learning music.

My lessons are tailored to each student’s individual needs and goals, whether they are beginners or advanced players. I incorporate various styles, including classical, folk, and contemporary, to help students discover their unique musical voice. Cultural sensitivity is key in my teaching, as I respect and integrate diverse musical traditions into my lessons.
I also teach related subjects, such as viola, cello, music theory, and ear training, enriching the learning experience.
