About Neil
The words of Nelson Mandela inspired me to become a teacher…
“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world”
My passion has always been history, I enjoy learning about the past as it explains the world we live in, and can even help us predict the future.

I am a highly motivated professional with 15 years experience of teaching Key Stage 3, GCSE and A Level history in English secondary schools. I have built up a wealth of experience that has enabled me to develop into an outstanding leader and classroom practitioner, securing consistently high outcomes for the students I work with. I believe that students reach their full potential when they are motivated. I ensure my lessons give students the opportunity to be creative and inquisitive in a supportive and positive environment. I’m happy to provide as much flexibility as I can in order to best meet the needs of my students. I look forward to working with you.
