About Florence
Completing a Bachelor of Music in Guitar Performance at the Curtis Institute of Music shaped my musical identity. Sometimes I find the technical rigor of classical training can overshadow the raw simplicity of a song.
My focus remains on guitar and Spanish as I guide teens, kids, and adults. Four years of teaching confirmed that structure builds freedom. I am a detail-oriented instructor who values a methodical approach. Students often find their footing within a single term.
I keep the joy of playing alive through precision. My goal is clear technique. You will play with confidence.

Many beginners struggle because they ignore fundamental music theory basics. Hard work matters far less than playing with the right concept in mind. I utilize my 4 years of experience to teach songwriting, fingerpicking, and power chords alongside scales and modes. Reading sheet music and tabs becomes second nature when the logic clicks.
I provide a practice module with every lesson to keep your momentum high. Happy practicing as you grow.
