About Aria
I am a singing tutor with over 6 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Musical Theatre Voice. I deliver personalised lessons to students of all levels, including school, college, and adult or professional learners. My teaching covers a variety of styles, including classical, pop, movie, and folk singing. I focus on ear training, harmony, improvisation, music theory, and building vocal confidence. Each lesson is designed to nurture your individual voice while using safe, effective vocal techniques. I aim to make learning interactive, engaging, and supportive so students feel encouraged every step of the way. I believe that every voice is unique and worth developing with care and attention. My lessons combine technical skills with creativity, helping students express themselves fully. I guide students to strengthen their range, tone, and musicality while enjoying the process. My teaching methodology focuses on vocal wellness, mindfulness, and long-term voice care. I guide students through gentle warm-ups that prepare the voice without strain. Hydration habits and healthy vocal placement are emphasised to maintain vocal health. For The Soloist in Training, we focus on controlled exercises, mindful breathing, and tracking progress to reach individual goals while staying calm and confident. The Church Ensemble Player practises blending and harmonising while maintaining joy and vocal freedom. Each session balances technique with mental relaxation. I introduce mindfulness timers and guided breathwork tools to help singers stay centred during practice. Vocal tracking apps are recommended to monitor progress and prevent overuse. Exercises include posture alignment, resonant placement, and sustainable dynamics. Students learn to listen to their bodies, honour their vocal limits, and approach singing with positivity. The focus is always on growth, clarity, and expressive freedom. By combining mindfulness with technique, singers achieve their goals while enjoying the journey.
