About Helena
Teaching helps me translate complex industry concepts into clear language for my students. I possess 13 years of experience in the field of accounting.
This journey started after I earned my Master of Science in Accounting from The Wharton School. I spent many years working directly in industry roles before turning to part-time instruction.
My goal is to simplify topics like financial statements and closing entries. I have successfully guided 496 students through various accounting hurdles.
These include working professionals, bookkeeping beginners, career switchers, accounting students, and small business owners. I prioritize the reasoning that supports a real analyst seat in the workplace. My focus remains on teaching ledgers, trial balance, and financial ratios with precision.
