This allows us to focus on belting technique, head and chest voice, and microphone technique without unnecessary strain.

"The sensation of breath expanding against the ribs signals the beginning of a truly connected vocal performance. I spent 12 years honing this physical awareness before transitioning into full-time pedagogy for 393 students. My training includes a Master of Music in Voice, which heavily influences how I categorise and teach technique. I believe that understanding the anatomy of the voice is essential for any professional or hobbyist.
