About Sarah
My name is Sarah and I am a proud mother of two lovely girls, aged 3 and 7. My husband is a firefighter, and I have been teaching for over 10 years. I had the opportunity to teach abroad in Thailand for 2 years, which was an incredible experience. In addition to teaching, I also coach basketball, which is a great way to stay active and involved in the community. I am grateful for my family, my career, and the opportunities I have had to explore new places and interests.

As an ESL teacher, my teaching methodology and techniques revolve around creating a comfortable and supportive learning environment for my students. I believe that language learning should be an interactive and engaging experience that caters to the unique needs of each student. Therefore, I personalize my teaching approach to match the learning style and proficiency level of each student.
A typical lesson plan starts with a warm-up activity that helps students activate their prior knowledge and prepare for the lesson's topic. I then introduce new vocabulary, grammar, and language structures, followed by interactive activities that allow students to practice their new language skills in a fun and engaging way. Finally, I assess the student's learning progress through quizzes, tests, or interactive activities.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my ability to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages students to take risks and make mistakes without fear of judgment. I also use technology and multimedia resources to make learning more interactive and engaging for my students.
