About Kathryn
Truthfully, I find that technical exercises are often too dry, so I make them musical. My lessons for working professionals and grade exam candidates focus on breathing control, belting, and vibrato.
I use my academic background to explain resonance and diction in simple, actionable terms. Free access to my breathing and warm-up exercise notes ensures you have a guide between our meetings. Keep practicing. I hope to see you soon for a session that feels as vibrant as a concert.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in French Studies and a BM Guitar from Concordia University. This formal training supports my 13 years of experience in the music industry.
I have worked with 207 students across various backgrounds to refine their vocal production. It is important to me that we treat the voice like the instrument it is. I keep my approach energetic and honest at all times. I enjoy the process of building vocal health.
Sometimes the hardest part is just starting. I still play gigs regularly because it keeps my own skills sharp.
