  • 1) When did you develop an interest in your chosen field and in private tutoring?

I studied in a physics and mathematics-focused school, and from an early age I genuinely enjoyed helping my classmates understand difficult topics. At the same time, I was активно involved in sports and always dreamed of becoming a coach.

Gradually, I started assisting others in their learning — first informally, then more consciously — and over time it naturally became my profession. Today, I’m lucky to do what I truly love: not only teaching, but also inspiring others to enjoy the learning process and discover their own potential.
  • 2) Tell us more about the subject you teach, the topics you like to discuss with students (and possibly those you like a little less).

In figure skating, I discovered a deep appreciation for the beauty of movement. I love the sound of the blade gliding across the ice, the ability to express emotions through motion, and the feeling of freedom that skating gives. Of course, I also truly enjoy technical elements like jumps and spins.

What fascinates me most is that every single element has its own kind of beauty — and the greatest beauty lies in progress: seeing how you improve day by day, step by step.

When it comes to languages, I enjoy helping students understand the logic behind them. I like showing how language reflects culture and how learning a new language can change the way you think. Naturally, everyone has topics that feel more challenging, but I believe there are no “impossible” areas — you just need to find the right approach.
  • 3) Did you have any role models; a teacher that inspired you?

My love for teaching — and my understanding of how to teach — comes from my mother. In a family with three children, she managed to give each of us exactly the amount of love, patience, and attention we needed. That had a huge influence on me.

Today, I’m also inspired by my coach. He pays close attention to every detail, yet always teaches with kindness and genuine care. This combination of professionalism and warmth is something I deeply respect and try to bring into my own teaching.
  • 4) What do you think are the qualities required to be a good tutor?

Patience, genuine care for people, kindness, and full engagement in the process.

I would also add the ability to adapt to each student and to truly listen — because every learner is different.
  • 5) Provide a valuable anecdote related to your subject or your days at school.

I remember one student who was initially very afraid of skating and didn’t believe they could even stand confidently on the ice. We started with very small steps, focusing on balance and building trust.

Over time, not only did they overcome their fear, but they also began to enjoy the process and even learned their first spins. That experience reminded me that progress is not about speed — it’s about consistency, support, and believing in yourself.
  • 6) What were the difficulties or challenges you faced or are still facing in your subject?

One of the main challenges is learning not to underestimate any part of the process. There are no “unimportant” details in either sports or learning — every small element matters.

Another challenge is patience: not rushing results and allowing yourself the time needed to truly progress. Real improvement comes step by step, and accepting that process is essential.
  • 7) Do you have a particular passion? Is it teaching in general or an element of the subject or something completely different?

I’m passionate about many things and enjoy combining different fields in my life. I love embroidery, sports, music, mathematics, and languages.

For me, teaching is a way to connect all these interests — to share knowledge, creativity, and inspiration with others.
  • 8) What makes you a Superprof (besides answering this interview questions :-P)?

I believe what makes me stand out is my ability to combine structure with creativity and discipline with kindness. I don’t just teach techniques — I help students understand, feel, and enjoy what they are doing.

I pay attention to each individual, adapt my approach, and create a supportive atmosphere where students feel comfortable, motivated, and confident in their progress.
