About Cooper
My name is Cooper and I'm a 21 year old from a coastal town in NSW Australia. When I was 14, I grew a love for the guitar and told myself I would learn it. I gave up a lot - many times actually.
But after persisting from the love I had for music I began to make chords, strum in time and sing alongside it all. Then after 7 years it becomes second nature and I'm stoked to be able to help other people learn guitar on their journey.
I'm not a strict guy - I don't bite. I'm fully aware of the hardship and patience that comes with learning the guitar. But I will healthily push you in you're learning to advance quicker than I did when I was learning. Like I said earlier, I'm not a professional, but I'm not an amateur. I can get you on your way quite quickly if you let me!

If you're a person who want's to learn the basics of guitar, I'm your guy. Although, I know some technical stuff too, but, nothing scary like complex scales and weird hand-placements.
I'll happily admit I'm not a professional, nevertheless, I'm no amateur.
We can spend an hour for each lesson. And as for a qualification, I have nothing written on paper about my music career, just hard work and persistence to where I am now.
I'll help you identify and be comfortable with:
- The parts of the guitar body
- Strings
- Notes
- Chords
- Strumming
- Timing
- Palm Muting
- Fingerpicking
- And even writing a song if you'd like!
And being a person who learned this all myself, it's safe to say I know what it takes to become a good guitarist. I'll encourage you and check up with you on how you're going!
