About Rachel
Hello, my name is Rachel and I am a year 11 VCE student. I want to work as a tutor to gain experience and to boost students academic self-confidence. My approach to tutoring is tailoring my lessons towards my students. Additionally, I want to make my pupils feel at ease around me because I think it is essential to establishing a friendly and enjoyable working environment.

My approach to tutoring is tailor my lessons to my students and working at their pace. Speaking from experience I also find that having a tutor closer in age made me engage more with them as i felt we had more in common.
The length of a typical lesson is up to the students parents or student but I would recommend max 2.5-3 hours and min 45 mins.
I haven't had too much experience as a tutor however I have tutored quite a few family friends (ages 7-14). I am also in year 11 and have always maintained well above average scores.
