About Sireena
My name is Sireena and am 13 years old who has a lot of experience dealing with children. I have 9, 7, and 1 year old nieces. My 9 year old niece was a Covid-year child whom suffered the lack of teaching due to the pandemic. Thus I took it upon myself to teach her phonetics among other skills. She is on the autistic spectrum and I have a clear understanding on how to communicate with her. This helps me widen my ability.
I attended private education from Nursery through mid-way Year 2. I switched to a Public School to lengthen my social skills. Currently, I am a student at a Sikh Faith School. With my mixed schooling life, I’ve acquired a very diverse set of skills.
This is my first job as a 13 year old.
Honestly, I am passionate on helping children exceed in English as it is a staple throughout someone’s life.
Being 13 may seem off-putting to parents as I may not have the ‘experience’ an adult does. But I do not think this at all. In fact, I think being the age I am means I can relate to how a child wants to be taught.
I’ve written a 316 page manuscript at age 12, but I am waiting until I’m older to publish it.
I have a nurturing, patience, and encouraging personality. And I adore children.

My teaching methods all spring from my own learning experiences as a child and how I wished my teachers taught me.
My main goals are to help the child really understand what they are learning.
I do this by:
- Creating specialised questions for the child’s ability.
- Speaking to them with equal respect.
- Being patient as I know all children do not learn at the same pace.
- As well as written questions, I will make sure interactive ones are available too.
- Home work will be assigned once a week (linking to what we’ve been learning)
- Encouraging any questions or queries.

My lessons are typically for children from 4-7. However, if your child is older then this I have no problem tutoring them.
My lessons with usually be one hour per session, and from Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday.
