About Annie
I am a year 11 student who is currently working towards my own GCSEs. I have a science scholarship to my school and prior tutoring experience for year 8 (13+) and year 11 (GCSE). I believe it is so fundamental to not just know the content, but to understand why and how, so I want to teach other students to explain things simply and effectively. Science provides the building blocks for the universe so understanding how it all links together will help it to make sense which is key to learning.

When learning science, I believe it is crucial to fully understand and make sense of each concept or topic, not just memorise content. This helps the student actually retain this knowledge and apply it to questions. As a GCSE student myself, I am familiar with the struggles teens encounter and the best methods and approaches to overcome these and achieve desired grades. I am great at explaining difficult or confusing concepts in simple, understandable terms so that students can reach their full potential. I also have my own notes and resources I can share to help revision. I am able to teach science at any level up to GCSE.
