About Izzy
Hi! I’m a Year 13 student with a strong academic record and a passion for helping others succeed. I have achieved top grades in Maths, Further Maths, and Chemistry, and I aim to make learning engaging, clear, and confidence-building. I am friendly, patient, and I tailor my approach to each student’s needs. My goal is not only to help students understand their subjects but also to build their confidence and independence so they can excel in exams and beyond. I take pride in being reliable and approachable, creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making progress at their own pace.

I offer tutoring for GCSE Maths, Further Maths, Chemistry and French, as well as A/AS Level Mathematics. I am currently studying four A-levels: Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Chemistry, and French. I completed A-level Maths in one year with an A* and am predicted A*s in Further Maths and Chemistry, and an A in French. At GCSE, I achieved 7 grade 9s, 1 grade 8, and 2 grade 7s, including 9s in Maths, Further Maths, Chemistry, French, Physics, and Biology. My teaching focuses on full exam preparation: building a clear understanding of all topics, applying knowledge to past exam questions, and learning how to approach questions to maximise marks. Lessons are tailored to each student, ensuring support where it’s needed most and helping unlock the next grade (or two).
