About Taylor
I am a dedicated and patient mathematics tutor who enjoys helping students build confidence and improve their understanding of maths. I focus on explaining concepts clearly and breaking down difficult problems into simple, step-by-step methods so students can develop strong problem-solving skills rather than just memorising formulas. I am currently a high-achieving high school student with strong results in mathematics and experience helping classmates and younger students with their work. My lessons are typically 1 hour and are designed for primary and early high school students who need help with homework, understanding class topics, or preparing for tests. My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and can steadily improve their maths skills.

My approach to tutoring mathematics focuses on helping students understand the reasoning behind concepts rather than just memorising formulas. Lessons are typically around 1 hour, which allows time to review previous material, explain new concepts, and practise questions. I am a high school student with strong performance in mathematics, ranking 2nd overall in year 11 and experience helping classmates and younger students understand difficult topics. My lessons are mainly aimed at primary and early high school students who need support with homework, understanding class content, or preparing for tests.
