About Opal
I have a genuine love for learning and enjoy sharing that curiosity with others, which shapes the way I tutor - patiently, thoughtfully, and with enthusiasm. My goal is to not only help students better understand and perform better in math, but to also make sure they have fun along the way! My academic achievements include: - Honors (top 5% of cohort (7.0 GPA)) x 3 years - Gold Academic Excellence Award (6.60+ GPA) x 4 years When I'm not studying, you can find me climbing, swimming, running, and having fun with my dog Maya.

I offer personalised maths tutoring focused on each student’s needs and goals to best support their learning. Lessons can be 60-120 minutes long and can include structured content review, guided practice, set lessons or working through problem questions.
If desired, I can also provide practice questions for students to work through in their own time to reinforce learning and retention. Students can also message me whenever they have questions or concerns. These two factors set apart my teaching approach, and are what I believe to be the two most beneficial aspects of my tutoring.
