About Jonny
In the 13 years I’ve been a personal trainer, and in an industry where people often ask what you specialise in, I’ve made it my goal to be as multifaceted as possible. Whether that be through training clients in contrasting parts of the world both (UK and China), training clients from all backgrounds (cultural, athletic, the disabled community, older and younger population), training 1-2-1, 1-2, small classes and events with hundreds of people, as well as my own varied competitive experience and accolades including 1st, 2nd and 3rd places respectively in strongman, Deka and long distance running events. One thing that has remained constant throughout is my passion and motivation to constantly hone my craft and to deliver the best training experience to anyone, no matter their goals or barriers, to anyone that trains with me!

Having taught in person, whether it be commercial gyms, private studios or even house visits, no matter the environment, I can help you achieve your goals and build new and long-lasting positive behaviours and habits, no matter the environment. Before training begins, we will initially begin with a consultation and postural assessment, this allows me to get to know you and your body and helps highlight anything I might need to be aware of in regards to physical imbalances, strengths and weaknesses as well as most importantly, what you want to achieve from our training. From there, no matter the emphasis of the sessions or your individual goals, each session will typically involve some aspects of SMR, stretching, activation and mobility, but mainly have a large focus on strength and resistance training, this being a large portion of the sessions, and usually finishing with some CV/general fitness/conditioning work to round it all off. All of my programmes are bespoke and guided by the latest and most up-to-date findings and research. If you want to know more please feel free to contact me!

Details
I offer in person training on site at ‘The Training Rooms’ private studio for £45 per session (complete with free initial postural assessment) or house visits for £45 per session not including travel costs (case by case basis). Either of these are paid for at a minimum of 4 week blocks. (E.g. 4 weeks at 1xpw =£180) I also offer online training whether that be 1-1 sessions via video call for £40 per session (minimum 4 week blocks) or programmes provided with regular check-ins and guidance for £120. I also offer hybrid training, a combination of in person and online.
