About Maia
Learning a language can be scary at first and the harassment from the Duolingo owl doesn't make it easier. I may not be a green bird, but I can help.
I'm a 22-year-old writer born in Argentina and have lived in BC for most of my life. I have 2 rescue dogs from Mexico, although we don't let soccer rivalries get in the way of our relationship. I like to read, cook, catch up with friends and try new hobbies and activities whenever I can!
I take pride in providing students with a healthy and engaging environment where the prospect of learning a language isn't as overwhelming as it may seem.
