About Edward
I am an International Business studies graduate from the University of Liverpool. As well as my studies, I have worked in various hospitality and customer service roles as well as a few months as a teaching assistant in high schools in Merseyside. My native languages are English and French. After spending ten years living in South-West France, I acquired French as a second language. I have previously worked with English holidaymakers in France looking to improve their level of French, which proved a great success as the holidaymakers I worked with left France being able to hold basic conversations with most French speakers. I have also offered numerous French baccalaureate students intensive English lessons to help with their final exams.

I base my classes on interaction and constant communication. I believe the best way to learn any language is to speak it and learn through interaction. I aim to teach with worksheets that set out tasks for the student, such as oral tasks as well as written expression and vocabulary tasks. I like to stir my student's curiosity by making the learning process progressive so that they can leave every lesson with the feeling of having learned something new. I make sure all of my lessons are interactive in order to make sure the student is always fully involved in the subject at hand. Lessons can be tailored to the student's needs, whether they are learning french as a second language or for exams, making my lessons perfect for GCSE or A-Level students!
