About Saifan
Hi! I’m Saifan, a dedicated and friendly tutor currently studying Medicine at Aston University. I offer personalised tutoring in Maths, specialising in GCSE. I’m passionate about helping students build confidence and truly understand the material—not just memorise it. My lessons are structured, supportive, and tailored to each student’s learning style. I achieved a Grade 9 in GCSE maths, a Grade 9 in IGCSE further maths as well as a Grade A in A level maths. Whether you need help with core understanding, exam technique, or ongoing support, I’m here to help you reach your goals. I offer online lessons. I focus on creating a supportive, clear, and structured learning environment. I break down difficult concepts into simple, manageable steps and use active learning techniques-guided practice, worked examples, and exam-style questions-to help students build both understanding and confidence. I adapt my teaching to each student’s needs and learning style, whether they benefit more from visual explanations, step-by-step problem solving, or repeated practice. My aim is always to help students genuinely understand the “why” behind the topic, not just memorise it. A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, although I can offer shorter or longer sessions depending on the student’s needs. Lessons usually start with a quick recap to check understanding, followed by focused teaching on the main topic, guided practice, and a brief summary to reinforce key points. I often set optional practice tasks to help students continue improving between sessions.
