About Deen
I'm an Economics graduate from Bocconi with a Master’s in Finance from IE and over 6 years of tutoring experience. I teach because many capable students fall short simply due to how material is presented. I enjoy helping students overcome the frustration that traditional teaching methods often create.
In my experience, most difficulties come from unclear explanations rather than lack of ability. My goal is to break complex ideas into simple steps so students truly understand instead of memorising. Seeing students build confidence and go from disliking a subject to enjoying it is what motivates me.

My teaching philosophy has two main parts: first, breaking complex topics down into simple analogies and real-life examples that anyone can understand; second, reinforcing that understanding through targeted practice questions.
I run 60-minute lessons and tailor them to the student’s pace. I’ve worked with many types of learners, but I mainly specialise in high school and university students who feel overwhelmed by theory and need help putting the puzzle together.
It took me a long time to learn how to study effectively myself I used to read slides and textbooks and feel lost by how much I didn’t know. Over time I became very good at simplifying ideas and explaining them clearly to others. That’s why I’m confident I can help you, no matter what stage you’re at.

My experience working with Deen has been primarily for GMAT prep and a bit of academic writing classes as well.
Honestly, what i really enjoyed is how structured he is with his teaching and how patient he was with any questions and concepts I did not fully grasp.
He really focuses on helping you understand the topics and questions and takes his time explaining everything. Since, in his paraphrased words, actually understanding the concepts is the only way you can progress in the studies.
As an extra he lowkey kinda a funny dude.

Deen helped me with my A-level maths so much! I was overwhelmed with all the new topics; however, after going through each topic with Deen and breaking it down, I realized it was a lot easier than I thought, and without him, I don't think I would have gotten such good grades in my last two years. The lessons are a lot of fun, and they pass by so quickly!
