I teach math and science topics like geometry, pre-algebra, algebra 1, early pre-calculus, chemistry, and basic physics. My lessons are aimed at students in Grades 3-10 who need support in building a strong foundation or mastering more advanced topics.
I come prepared for live-tutoring sessions online (web-cam) with tailored lessons that suit each student’s individual needs. I incorporate interactive learning, encouraging students to engage actively rather than passive listening. I also recommend textbooks and provide practice questions based on the specific courses they’re studying.
Each lesson begins with a quick check-in to see what we're struggling with so we can go over past concepts or foundations. If looking to get ahead, online resources will help provide new understanding of advanced topics. We’ll work through practice problems together to solidify understanding, with interactive discussion throughout.
