About Steve
Over a period of nine years in Japan I taught many college students, groups of professional people at several corporations, and at times tutored students individually. My goal has always been to improve their basic conversation skills, so that they can communicate comfortbly.

I first assess the English ability of students. I then focus on pronunciation and listening comprehension.
I then work with students to expand their vocabulary. At all times I teach standard American English, and work with students to overcome their pronunciation difficulties. My aim is to improve their conversation skills.
