We had lessons together and she really knew what she was doing, she worked so hard and always helped me do the best. She is so friendly and makes you feel really comfortable so if you have any questions you know you can ask her.

She tutored me through A-level english literature. She was very helpful and helped my grade go up by two grades. She was really good at essay writing and helped me go over my essays so they were better.

We as a class have been tutored by Vicky from December to July 2019, she has been teaching us English GCSE. As a lot of us need a C grade so that we can get on courses next year.

Vicky has helped us to get better grades in English. She gave us lots of past paper questions that was very helpful, so we could practice our writing skills and get more confident in what we are meant to do. She also went over how to answer different types of questions and gave us proof reading tasks that we need for our exams.

She not only went over information as a class but came around and helped us one on one. She gave us a lot of encouragement. She understood that we all struggled with different things and had bad days. This made us more confident and going over things helped us in our English lessons as we had a better understanding of what we were doing.

Vicky also didn’t let us say that we couldn’t do something or that we were going to fail. If we said that she would tell us we were wrong and go over whatever was making us stressed to make sure that we understood it. When she was marking our work she always said all the positive things about it first and if things needed to be changed was very polite and encouraging about it.

We really enjoyed playing Kahoot for vocabulary, as it was very fun and helped us learn new words for our writing. We also enjoyed persuasive writing, as Vicky made us write from the opposite side. This was more difficult but also more useful as we had to be able to persuade someone on something we didn’t believe in so had to work really hard to do it.

We are very grateful for what Vicky has done for us, as she has helped us achieve our goals and achieve what we need to in our GSCE English.
