About Chris
Born in Nottingham, I trained for four years at university and Drama school (East 15 Acting school, London). During my training, I studied and honed my craft in Stanislavski, Meisner and Naturalism as well as screen acting techniques inspired by Stella Adler and Lee Strasberg.
I have over fifteen years experience as a freelance actor and have worked in colleges as a Drama and Acting tutor (A-Level and BTEC). Furthermore, I have experience working with AQA and EdExcel exam scripts as well as Trinity Guildhall Acting and Speaking exams. I have, most recently, created and taught upon the new screen acting course at Confetti Institute of Creative Technology, Nottingham.
I work on a practical level, using Naturalism and personal experience/emotion to find the truth in performance pieces. I can aid in passing exam practice for Drama and Theatre courses as well as aiding learners in preparing for Drama school.
