About Samantha
Ko Marotiri te maunga, ko Mangahauini te awa, ko Horouta te waka, ko te Moana-nui-ā-Kiwa te moana, ko Ngāti Porou te iwi, ko Te Whānau-a-Ruataupare te hapū. I started learning Te Reo in high school but have been passionate about it since I was 8 years old.

I believe learning is most effective when it's enjoyable. Teaching through fun activities and interactive games that engage students' minds and make them want to learn. My lessons are typically 1-2 hours. I have taught high school students aged 13+ and university students aged 18 - 50+. I have been doing so for 3 years now. I have a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Criminology, Māori Studies, and Te Reo from Te Herenga Waka, Victoria University of Wellington.
I am passionate about revitalising our taonga reo and helping everyone bring Te reo Maori into their everyday life!
