About Safiya
I work as a tutor for children with learning difficulties and/or behavioural issues. I have ten students who I see two or three times a week for two hours at a time. As I am at work during school hours I am offering online tuition for the evenings and weekends. I have worked full time as a tutor for one year but have been tutoring part time for four years. I have taught in a primary school helping prepare year six students for their SATs, tutored at children’s homes and also at local library’s.

I suit my teaching method to the students best ways of learning, wether that be through past paper practise or a more lecture style lesson. I have had students who learnt better through "game" style activities based on the subject being taught which is also possible. Depending the age of my students I tailor the teaching style to what I think is suitable as well as taking into account if there is an upcoming exam to prepare for. (In which exam style question practise will be more beneficial).
