About Ruby
I am a singing tutor with over 4 years of experience and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Vocal Arts and Opera. I am passionate about helping students build vocal confidence and overcome performance anxiety. My lessons focus on connecting emotionally with songs, especially in contemporary worship and gospel music. I also teach styles like Pop, Indie, R&B, and Contemporary Worship. Breath control, expressive phrasing, and vocal health are central to my approach. I work with shy beginners, teen worship leaders, and aspiring recording artists alike. Live performance coaching for congregational singing is one of my strengths. Lessons are structured to help students feel confident in both solo and group settings. I emphasize the importance of connecting with the audience through emotion and authenticity. Students learn practical techniques for phrasing, tone, and dynamic control. My goal is to help learners express themselves freely while maintaining vocal health. Each session encourages growth, joy, and musical exploration. Together, we will find your voice and enjoy the journey of spiritual and musical self-expression.

My teaching approach focuses on helping singers discover and enhance their unique vocal timbre. Lessons cover vocal resonance, projection, and tone shaping for a balanced and expressive voice. I also guide students in mastering different vocal qualities, including belting, head voice, and mixed voice. The Soloist in Training learns techniques to perform with confidence and clarity. The Adult Beginner builds strong foundational skills while exploring their natural voice. My methodology combines technical exercises with practical repertoire practice. Students develop control, expression, and flexibility in their singing. I provide feedback tailored to each student’s strengths and goals. Lessons focus on unlocking full vocal potential while maintaining vocal health. Students learn to project and resonate effectively in any setting. Each session encourages growth, confidence, and musical expression. Together, we refine tone, explore vocal colors, and enhance performance skills. Singing becomes both joyful and empowering.
