About Thalia
I am a piano tutor with 14 years of experience and a strong passion for music education. I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Piano Studies, which has given me a deep understanding of both technique and expression. Alongside teaching, I work as a composer and performer, which brings real-world experience into my lessons. Music, to me, is a lifelong journey—not just a skill to be learned, but a way to grow, express, and connect. I enjoy working with both beginners discovering the keyboard for the first time and advanced musicians refining their artistry. My lessons are personalized, structured, and filled with encouragement. I teach classical foundations while also exploring modern styles, improvisation, and creative play. My goal is to help students not only play the notes but understand the meaning behind them. I include ear training, theory, and performance practice to shape well-rounded musicians. Whether you're starting out or preparing for a recital or exam, I guide you with patience and insight. In my piano lessons, I blend structure with creativity to make learning fun and effective. I teach strong music theory basics alongside ear training and expressive playing. Students learn not only how to read notes but also how to feel and understand the music they play.
