About Jialu
I am a Chinese native speaker and have been doing my doctorate in theology at the University of Heidelberg since 2016. As a member of the school team of the Institute of Sinology, I have often attended the "China to the Schools" event by the Confucius Institute at the University of Heidelberg.

I bring students closer to Chinese by looking at students' confidence in this new language as the starting point and basis of my method. In my experience, the motive in language learning arises on the one hand from that objective need, on the other hand from one's own satisfaction. The trust of all is the prerequisite for progress, no matter in which level.
