About Phillip
I am Science Teacher , I have taught Physics ('A'Level) Chemistry and Biology to ('O'Level) I have taught the IB, USA,UK and Caribbean Curricular. I have taught in the Caribbean, USA UK and UAE. I held leadership/responsibility positions: Head of Year, Head of Physics Department, Workshop Presenter and Assistant Examiner for Physics with The Caribbean Examination Council (CXC)... I have a Diploma in teaching (Phys. Chem and Biology) B.Ed degree with Phys. and Bio. and a M.A. Ed. in Education/Teaching.

I use a variety of methods depending on the nature; attitude,culture andthe ability of the students. As a Science teacher teaching Science a practical approach is most appealing an effective. The Socratic and scaffolding approach allow the discovery method to trip in nicely. Then their discoveries are are linked to their real life experiences. Take for example a student that plays sports, he/ can learn how to get more out of their effort eg shooting the netball or the basket ball, the learn about the importance of trejectory in shot put or the discuss. i always try to find out what they come to me with then try to build on it.
