About Isaac
I started in school by helping friends and classmates conquer tricky maths problems—and quickly discovered how much I love guiding someone toward that “aha!” moment. Right after my GCSEs, I took on my first paid tutoring role, and over the next five years, I’ve delivered 600+ hours of one-to-one and small-group lessons, supporting 300+ pupils. At sixth form and university I broadened my coaching skills—becoming a boxing coach where I learned to motivate diverse learners and adapt on the fly. I hold a BEng in Aeronautical Engineering (2:1), which sharpened my logical, analytical mindset. Whether I’m breaking down complex calculus or coaching ring footwork, my goal is always the same: empower each student to think critically, solve problems confidently, and become the best version of themselves.

I specialise in GCSE Maths (KS4) across the major UK exam boards—AQA, Edexcel & OCR—where I guide students through number & algebra, geometry, trigonometry, statistics and exam technique to build confidence and secure top grades. I also have experience supporting KS1–KS3 learners (ages 5–14) in foundational numeracy, arithmetic and pre-algebra. Students consistently tell me they value my unique blend of approachability and clear guidance. By positioning myself as a “friendly authority,” I build strong rapport and high trust, making learners feel safe to ask questions and share ideas.
